U.S. Veteran Emotional Support Animal Pairing Program

Vets and Pets Yoga offers an Emotional Support Animal Pairing program to U.S. military veterans. All animals are adopted through local animal shelters. Our organization works closely with these shelters to find the best match for those accepted into the program.

This is a dual-purpose initiative that brings veterans and rescue animals together to foster internal healing, where trust is rebuilt on both sides, and two lives begin to move forward together. We are thrilled to help our veterans and animals at the same time.

How We Help

Helping veterans throughout the entire process, so finding support feels easy, not overwhelming.

Adoption

We partner with local shelters to match participants with the right pet for their lifestyle and cover all adoption fees.

ESA Letter

We help participants get set up with a therapist to get an ESA letter and handle the cost of obtaining it.

Pet Training

We may also help the program participant find and cover the cost of basic pet training, depending on what the animal requires.
